Liberals Say the Deaths of Children in the Middle East Are Worth It

In effect, this is what the liberal warmongers are saying about the war on Iraq, which has claimed the lives of at least 500,000 children so far.

There are plenty of liberals who have said this, including former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.

Albright on 60 Minutes had the following to say:

Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price–we think the price is worth it”.

And here’s what Wolf Blitzer had to say on 60 Minutes on May 5, 1996. Senator Rand Paul said in an interview on CNN with Blitzer that he objected to the US continuing to refuel the Saudi bombers that have killed thousands in Yemen with their bombs and air strikes. He said the President never got Congress’ permission to do this.

Blitzer answered by saying that arms sales to the Middle East support a lot of jobs in the US, essentially justifying the deaths of thousands of civilians, many of which were children, for the sole purpose of stimulating the U.S. economy.

The liberal media has contradicted itself in multiple occasions regarding the war in Iraq and this is a perfect example of how some Democrat leaders have expressed their explicit support for a war that has claimed countless innocent lives.
